Mediation

Independent facilitation and conflict resolution for your business

Trust our team of professional mediators

Sometimes all a business needs is a set of fresh eyes to help facilitate a dispute between colleagues and provide an opportunity for those employees to explore the heart of the matter and identify a pathway forward.

Perks People Solutions Director Cecilia White, Associate Director Amanda Green and Senior Consultant Brigid Emmett and nationally accredited mediators using the National Mediation Accreditation System.

With legal and HR qualifications, Cecilia, Amanda and Brigid have extensive experience resolving disputes across a broad range of organisations and the varied conflicts that arise in those settings.

Our approach

In consultation with your business, the approach to successful mediation is as follows:

  • The mediation process begins by meeting each party individually to explain the process, check for any conflicts and highlight confidentiality.

  • At the next stage, the mediator brings the parties together in a confidential setting to initiate a discussion.

  • From there, your mediator will identify the core issues, design a respectful facilitation and ultimately guide the parties through their options to progress forward.

  • During the mediation, your mediator will take time to understand the concerns and succinctly articulate and summarise each perspective and concern.

  • The mediation process is highly confidential and your mediator remains entirely independent at all times during and after the process.
