An opportunity now exists for an experienced Senior Accountant to join the finance function in a key role supporting group reporting, analysis and financial system enhancement initiatives.
The Role
Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Accountant will deliver accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting across multiple entities. This role supports commercial decision‑making through strong statutory accounting expertise, reporting standardisation and continuous process improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Month end and year end reporting across multiple entities
- Preparation of P&L, balance sheet, variance and management reports
- Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting
- Overseeing AP and AR functions
- Balance sheet reconciliations and oversight of fixed assets
- Preparation of group financial statements
- Managing various compliance processes including supporting with the annual audit process
- Preparing Board packs and reporting and liaising with key stakeholders
- Supporting with continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and technology as required
About You
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Commenced (or completed) your CA/CPA qualification
- 2+ years of accounting experience either in professional practice (audit or business services) or commerce
- Good understanding of accounting principles and legislation
- Comfortable with accounting systems & Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and eager to grow, develop and continuously improve
- Great communicator and team player!
