Due to growth, an opportunity now exists for an immediately available Recruitment/Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis over the coming months. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a growing organisation that values its people and is committed to building a skilled and reliable workforce.

The Role

Reporting through to the General Manager of HR you’ll be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment across the business. Duties will include:

  • Liaising with Manager’s to understand recruitment requirements and job briefs
  • Determining the best course of action on recruitment processes that take into consideration the needs of the business and associated timeframes
  • Preparing and posting advertisements to job boards and managing response
  • Identifying strategies to expand candidate pools and improve sourcing outcomes
  • Creating search lists and mapping the market for niche roles on LinkedIn and then proactively approaching suitable talent
  • Managing candidate and stakeholder relationships throughout the recruitment journey
  • Screening and interviewing suitable talent in conjunction with relevant Managers
  • Supporting the offer and onboarding process for new starters
  • Conducting reference checks and resource planning meetings
  • Providing market insights and recruitment updates to internal stakeholders
  • Maintaining engagement with talent pools for future opportunities
  • Any other recruitment related tasks required by the business

 
About You

  • Previous experience working in recruitment (either agency or internal) – preferably recruiting senior or technical roles
  • Previous experience recruiting in a project-based industry e.g. construction will be highly regarded but is not essential
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to clearly set action plans for recruitment processes and deliver exceptional outcomes
  • A contemporary approach to recruitment and strong knowledge of selection methodologies, legislation, and interview practices
  • A proactive, tenacious mindset with a passion for sourcing top talent
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Previous experience proactively approaching candidates and creating talent pipelines
  • An eagerness to learn, develop and grow your recruitment career
  • Immediately available to commence in a temporary capacity
