Our Client

We are currently partnering with Nganana Inc. to recruit a HR Officer for a full-time, 6-month fixed term contract, with a strong view to permanency.

About the Role

As the HR Officer, you will play a key role in delivering operational HR support across the organisation. Working closely with leaders and employees, you will contribute to recruitment, onboarding, workforce administration, employee relations, compliance, and HR systems support.

This is a varied, hands-on role offering exposure to all aspects of HR, while allowing you to build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and probation processes
  • Maintain accurate HR records, systems, and workforce data
  • Support employee relations processes, including performance and conduct matters
  • Assist with workforce planning, reporting, and HR administration
  • Provide timely and professional HR support to managers and employees
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and NDIS standards
  • Collaborate with Payroll and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy
  • Support audits, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach
