We are seeking a commercially astute and collaborative Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our national finance and corporate services function. Reporting directly to the CEO, this pivotal role will drive financial strategy, compliance, and performance across a complex multi-entity environment, while fostering a culture of transparency, agility, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the group’s finance and corporate shared services platform, managing financial performance, compliance and payroll.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and standardised financial reporting across the group.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cashflow, and statutory compliance.
- Present monthly financial results and insights to the Board.
- Drive financial leadership in strategic projects, investments, and M&A activity.
- Champion data integrity and reporting automation, supporting transformation initiatives.
- Ensure robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering collaboration and cultural alignment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven CFO experience in service-based sectors, ideally from disability, aged care, or healthcare.
- Strong turnaround capability and experience in both commercial and not-for-profit environments.
- Expertise in consolidated reporting, board engagement, and strategic financial planning.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport across executive and board levels.
- A collaborative, responsive, and flexible approach to leadership, with a sense of humour and a commitment to team culture.
Essential Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in senior finance roles.
- CA or equivalent accounting accreditation.
- Demonstrated experience in M&A, post-deal integration, and financial modelling preferred.
- Deep understanding of tax, corporate law, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience managing large payroll and receivables functions.
