Philip Peluso is a Recruitment Consultant at Perks People Solutions, specialising in Local Government recruitment across South Australia. Having previously worked within the Local Government sector at Centennial Park Cemetery Authority, a council subsidiary, Philip brings valuable firsthand insight into council environments and the challenges they face in attracting and retaining talent. He partners with councils to attract and secure high-calibre talent and is passionate about delivering positive outcomes for both clients and candidates.

Philip specialises in recruiting white-collar professionals across Local Government, from General Officer through to Senior Officer and Team Leader level. His area of specialty spans a range of functional areas, including Corporate Services, Community Services, Planning and Infrastructure, giving him a broad understanding of the diverse workforce needs of councils.

His strengths lie in stakeholder engagement, relationship management and business development. Philip takes a consultative approach to recruitment, investing time in understanding each organisation, its requirements and the type of candidate best suited to the role and environment. Currently undertaking a Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management), Philip is committed to his ongoing professional development and building his knowledge of contemporary people and workforce practices.

Outside of recruitment, Philip is a Master of Ceremonies with Entertainment Adelaide and a Member of the Festival Delivery Committee for the Adelaide Italian Festival, reflecting his passion for community involvement, building connections and bringing people together.
