Graduate Analyst – Funds Management

Our Client

ICAM is a South Australian based alternative investments fund manager providing attractive, ethical and long-term investment opportunities for high-net-worth investors, family offices and institutional funds. ICAM specialises in investing and managing real assets such as property and infrastructure as well as private credit. ICAM focuses on the active sourcing, creation and management of institutional real estate and infrastructure funds. The company aims to strategically expand their diverse portfolio of alternative investments located across Australia whilst retaining their boutique essence.

An opportunity exists for a Graduate Analyst to join their Property Investment Team.

The Role

  • Developing and maintaining dynamic financial models including refining and updating distribution forecasting and scenarios
  • Preparation of financial data and written reports for Information Memoranda, investor reports, investor presentations and Trust Board papers etc.
  • Supporting capital transactions, asset acquisition and divestment decision analysis utilizing financial model templates
  • Developing investment appraisals for new acquisitions and undertaking investment analytics on ICAM’s portfolio of assets
  • Assisting in preparing investment related board papers for relevant investment trust boards
  • Reviewing asset-level reporting from Property Managers and supporting analysis of leasing proposals and other asset management initiatives
  • Supporting ongoing fund operations and portfolio administration, including liaison with related third parties including financiers, investors, registry, auditors etc
  • Operational support including facilitating investor unit transfers
  • Liaising with back-office administration entities such as accounting
  • Monitoring sector, market and economic conditions and assessing their impact on ICAM’s portfolios

About You

  • Currently studying a relevant tertiary qualification e.g. Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Corporate Finance or Property and due to graduate in 2026/27 or a recent graduate
  • Previous experience working within a professional services firm in corporate finance, audit, property or funds management will be highly regarded but is not essential
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and exposure to financial modelling and a strong desire to grow in this area
  • Strong financial, analytical and research skills and highly diligent with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong written (including report writing and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to demonstrate personal initiative, self-motivation and the ability to work at pace with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly and the ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interest in pursuing a long-term career in funds management
