Operating as a not‑for‑profit membership organisation, UDIA SA works closely with its State and Territory counterparts to advocate for meaningful policy reform and positive outcomes for the industry and the broader community.
The Role
We are seeking a motivated and highly organised Events and Marketing Assistant to support the delivery of high‑quality events, communications and stakeholder engagement activities.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys creating compelling content, coordinating events, and working collaboratively in a fast‑paced, purpose‑driven environment.
Duties will include:
Content Creation
- Proactively produce written and digital content, including video, for use across UDIA SA’s owned and third‑party channels
- Attend events, press conferences and similar activities to capture photography and video content
- Drive engagement and messaging across LinkedIn and other UDIA social media channels
- Manage a forward content plan to ensure timely and relevant communication to members
Events and Stakeholder Engagement
- Support the Events and Sponsorship Manager in the delivery of UDIA SA events
- Assist the Advocacy team with communications for campaigns and achievements
- Develop event communications and promotional collateral in line with UDIA SA brand guidelines
- Contribute to engagement strategies with industry stakeholders, sponsors and professionals
- Track event attendance, performance, communications outcomes and budgets, and assist with post‑event reporting
- Provide administrative and coordination support for partnerships, including advertising schedules and reporting
- Coordinate print and digital materials, event assets and promotional stock to a high standard
Office Administration
- Manage and maintain the UDIA SA CRM system (HubSpot)
- Generate invoices as required
- Produce reporting on communications, sponsorship and engagement activities
- Provide high‑level administrative support to the UDIA SA team
About You
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in event coordination, administration, or a similar role
- Qualifications in event management or a related discipline highly regarded
- Strong content writing and drafting skills essential
- Thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced team environment
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and office management systems
- Exposure to CRM systems preferred; HubSpot experience highly regarded
- High level of attention to detail, professionalism, and follow‑through
