An opportunity now exists for an experienced Investment Analyst to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Role
Reporting to the Investment Manager and working closely with the CFO, CEO, Board, Investment Committee and key stakeholders, you’ll be responsible for providing key financial, analytical and strategic support across new property investment opportunities, funds management, investor reporting and corporate strategy/growth.
Duties will include:
- Assisting to evaluate and execute new property investment opportunities – due diligence, feasibility modelling, market analysis, deal and finance structuring and investor liaison
- Preparing Investment Committee papers, Investment Memorandums, Board reports and relevant financial analysis
- Assisting with equity capital raisings, investor liaison, capital calls, investor reporting
- Assisting with raising, structuring and monitoring debt facilities and relationships
- Building and maintaining financial models; investment feasibilities, cashflow forecasting and investor returns
- Managing external and internal property valuation processes
- Assisting with fund and asset management, reporting and governance
- Assisting to grow the store operations platform, including financial analytics, growth projects and management support
- Assisting with corporate strategy and business development
About You
- Relevant tertiary degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Property or equivalent
- CA, CFA or CPA qualified (or working towards)
- 2 – 4+ years’ experience in a relevant industry, such as corporate finance, banking, funds management, property investment or valuations, accounting or corporate advisory
- Demonstrated experience in investment analysis, financial modelling, valuations and/or due diligence
- Excellent financial modelling, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Solid analytical and research skills
- A collaborative contributor and a team player with a strong desire to succeed and add value
- Calm under pressure, forward thinking and an attitude of taking responsibility
