We are seeking an energetic, forward-thinking Regional Manager to partner closely with the CEO to expand the current business. This is an opportunity to modernise operations, enhance the culture and build capacity so the business can deliver strongly as additional work is secured.
About the Role
This role is the operational heartbeat of the region, overseeing people, performance, administration and service delivery across Whyalla, Port Lincoln and Port Augusta operations. With a strong administrative and leadership focus, you will look to modernise processes, streamline workflow and instil accountability and operational discipline across multiple small sites.
The responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing teams across taxis, buses, Hertz and regional admin functions including a call centre
- Resetting cultural expectations and building a healthy, high-performance environment
- Improving operational efficiency, simplifying processes and reducing unnecessary cost
- Ensuring the region can confidently scale and deliver as growth accelerates
- Building strong relationships across customers, stakeholders and community partners
- Supporting HR, safety, compliance and people management activities
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys both daily operational oversight and longer-term system improvement.
About You
You will bring a blend of energy and a commercial mindset, and you will be excited by the chance to rebuild a culture, lift performance and create genuine operational clarity across a diverse footprint.
You will likely offer:
- Experience in operations, branch or regional leadership, ideally in service or transport
- Strong people leadership capability, able to motivate, engage and set clear standards
- Proven commercial skills including budgeting, workforce planning and cost
- Accounting knowledge is beneficial but not essential. Exposure to budgeting, cost control and reporting will be advantageous.
- Confidence managing administrative teams and restructuring clunky processes
- The ability to stay calm, organised and solutions-focused when new work lands
- A contemporary approach to culture, accountability and continuous improvement
- A collaborative mindset and the confidence to work closely with ambitious executive leaders
