Payroll Systems Administrator

Our Client

An established South Australian engineering and manufacturing business, located in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, is seeking an experienced Payroll Systems Administrator to support its payroll function during a period of transition and system implementation. As the business moves from its legacy system to a new payroll platform, they need someone who can take ownership of the testing and data‑validation work during the transition.

This is a 6‑month, part‑time contract (3 days per week) ideal for someone confident in end‑to‑end payroll who can step into a busy environment and keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Entering and processing pays through Timetrack (TA) during dual‑run testing for approximately 75 employees
  • Supporting the transition from MYOB XO to MYOB Acumatica
  • Assisting with validation of data flow between timesheets and the new payroll platform
  • Completing payroll-related manual inputs (allowances, leave, penalties, RDOs, deductions, etc.)
  • Supporting the existing Payroll Officer with fortnightly payroll processing as required throughout the transition period
  • General payroll administration tasks

  • Strong payroll experience
  • Confidence working with multiple systems during a transition period
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to pick up new processes quickly
  • A proactive, supportive approach to working with existing payroll staff
