An opportunity now exists for an Accounts Officer to join the team on a 6-month temporary basis with a view to permanency.
The Role
Reporting to the Manager you’ll be responsible for:
- Data entry of invoices into the in-house accounting package
- Coding a high volume of invoices (500+ per week) against various divisions
- Ensuring all invoices are approved by the relevant Manager
- Creating batch payment runs
- General reconciliations and reporting tasks
- Any other tasks required to ensure the AP function is well maintained
About You
- Strong attention to detail and quick data entry skill set (up to 500+ invoices per week)
- Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with multiple leaders for approvals
- Previous experience working within a clerical role e.g. Accounts Payable, Finance Officer, Bookkeeping etc.
- Available to commence immediately
- Full, unrestricted Australian work rights
- National Police Check – or ability to obtain
