Our Client
Guild Payroll is a full-service payroll bureau, operated by the Pharmacy Guild of SA. It has been operating for more than 10 years and it has hundreds of clients across multiple healthcare modalities as well as general retail.
They are expanding their service offering by transitioning to Dayforce, a next generation, tier 1 integrated payroll and workforce management system with an estimated go live date of early next year. As part of this transition, they are currently looking for a Payroll Implementation & Training Specialist to provide support and ongoing assistance for their customers.
The Role
Reporting through to the Business Manager, your duties will include:
- Develop and deliver training programs (virtual, in-person, or self-service guides) to help customers and internal teams understand Dayforce’s workforce management features.
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles, FAQs, and user guides for payroll and workforce management functions.
- Conduct onboarding sessions and refresher training for new and existing customers.
- Act as a primary contact for workforce management-related queries, assisting customers with scheduling, time tracking, attendance, and workforce planning.
- Troubleshoot system issues, configuration challenges, and data discrepancies related to Dayforce’s workforce management module.
- Work closely with technical teams and product specialists to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Provide guidance on workforce management, ensuring customers leverage automation and scheduling efficiencies within Dayforce.
- Support the rollout of new features and drive adoption of workforce management best practices.
- Collaborate with payroll officers to ensure a seamless integration between time tracking, workforce planning, and payroll processing.
- Gather customer feedback and provide insights to improve training materials, processes, and system configurations.
- Assist in developing change management strategies for customers adapting to Dayforce.
- Stay updated on Dayforce enhancements and communicate relevant updates to internal teams and customers.
About You
- Previous experience with payroll implementations/rollouts – ideally with Dayforce or a similar tier-1 software package
- Previous experience developing and delivering engaging training materials and creating self-service resources
- Problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and optimise workflows
- Strong communication skills to explain complex processes in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively across internal teams (support, product, customer success) and external customers.
- Historical experience with end-to-end payroll processing or within HR where you’ve had oversight of payroll will be highly regarded
