Lean, agile, and growing – Cemba Logistics is seeking a National Business Operations Manager to help shape their future.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll lead operational systems, performance reporting, and strategic projects across the business. You’ll work closely with the National Field Operations Manager and CFO to align operations with commercial goals, while coaching stakeholders to embrace innovation and best practice.

This is not a back-office role. You’ll be involved in account management, onboarding new clients, governance, modelling, pricing, and tender responses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement efficient business processes and systems
  • Lead operational performance reporting and data analysis
  • Drive major projects and structured change initiatives
  • Champion continuous improvement across all areas of operations
  • Provide operational leadership and support to internal teams
  • Build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers

 
About You

We’re looking for someone smart, eager, and analytical – a doer with a logical mind and the ability to problem-solve. You don’t need a logistics background, but you must understand contracted services and blue-collar workforces.
You’ll be comfortable working in a lean environment, thinking outside the square, and rolling up your sleeves when needed. Tertiary qualifications are not essential, but you must be tech-savvy, commercially aware, and able to present confidently.
