The Jones Group is a proudly Northern Territory owned and operated company that consists of several successful Agri businesses including but not limited to, North Australian Helicopters (NAH), Jones Cattle NT, Victoria River Roadhouse, The Top Springs Hotel, and the famous Coolibah Station.

The Jones Group is owned and run by Milton and Cristina Jones, and they have a rich history spanning over the past 40 years.

The Role

The Operations Coordinator will play a vital leadership role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of North Australian Helicopters. Based in Katherine, this position requires a proactive, safety-focused individual with strong organisational and communication skills to manage pilots, fleet logistics, and operational planning.

Reporting to senior leadership, your responsibilities will include:

• Daily management of pilots and helicopter fleet
• Organising and coordinating day-to-day base operations
• Managing bookings, phones, and crew rosters
• Preparing tenders and quotes
• Providing administrative and operational support across the business

Key Attributes

The ideal candidate will possess the following key attributes:

• Demonstrates excellent time management and leadership skills
• Highly motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• Safety-focused with a high level of attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Previous experience in aviation or logistics (highly regarded)
